Accuracy is a key element of machinery installation services. Beck & Pollitzer’ Specialist services provide metrology (laser tracking) to ensure that all projects – however complex – are completed accurately and quickly.
Our in-house capabilities include floor-marking, alignment, measuring and levelling. Our ability to use laser-tracking therefore means we guarantee pin-point preciseness from the beginning of a project to final adjustments at the very last moment.
Beck & Pollitzer is a preferred services supplier for a number of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). We work in conjunction with them to undertake any modifications that are needed during the installation phase.
In addition to machinery modification, we offer specialist machinery maintenance services. These include the decommissioning and re-commissioning of CNC-controlled machinery and production lines. Other services include fault finding, Renishaw BallBar and accuracy checks.
In order to ensure all components meets expectations, Beck & Pollitzer provides commissioning support. Through a program of check-ups, dry runs and verifications, we guarantee that everything we install meets production targets. This includes everything from individual instrument testing to complex inspections of whole modules, subsystems and system. Only when we are completely satisfied will we then hand over the project to the client.

Proton Beam Therapy Installation
Beck & Pollitzer completed the installation of a proton beam therapy system in Madrid, Spain. The installation was for a global Healthcare giant and was the first of its kind to be installed in Europe for the company.
The scope of work included a Gantry Room, Accelerator Room and Electrical room. The team was responsible for unloading over 220 tons of equipment, which required the use of 400 tons cranes to bring it all through the roof of the building.
Accuracy was of paramount importance for this project, and Beck & Pollitzer was responsible for the installation and precise alignment of the equipment. The team also handled the piping, electrical and instrumentation work, for which more than 40km of cables were installed.
Although the project was demanding, the Beck & Pollitzer team was a strong mix of experience management, site supervisors, Quality and Health & Safety supervisors. Thanks to their expertise, the project was completed on schedule and met the client’s high Quality Control (QC) expectations.
